A love letter to those kids stuck in the middle, In BeTween tells the story a group of anxious tweens gathered for the biggest event of the year: the reveal of the East Willowbrook Community Center’s spring musical cast list. They may come from different neighborhoods and backgrounds, but they all share the same theatre kid DNA.

Tragedy strikes when a message rings out over the intercom: the director will be delayed. (A flat tire?! NOOO!) The students are forced to wait together as tensions rise, personalities clash, and secrets are revealed. Twelve angsty theatre tweens forced to spend an unsupervised hour together in a black box theatre... what’s the worst that could happen?
